Hello,
I still have my Jimmy, I gave it to my daughter and I purchased the Softopper in Black. We love it. The top really is nice and easy to use. I paid full price and it was the best thing we have added to our project. The brothers at Softopper are really great people and I was in Boulder a few months ago and stopped in and visited their shop. They were just about to move to a larger building and thief business is doing well. If anyone is interested in a soft top this is the best company to choose.

Default 1st Gen Soft Top

I love this top, it is better than I expected and it looks great. This top is worth the price and the Softopper brothers make a superior product. Sure you can try and find a local shop to make something up, but you won't get a soft top like this. I gave the Jimmy to my daughter and she can even handle taking it down and putting it up. The safari style is awesome too. And now they offer it in tan and grey (color) if you don't want black.

It is a steel if you ask me.

Thanks for the update. Those tops look pretty nice. I have the bestop on mine still, and that softopper looks nicer. Im still kind of torn between trying to find someone to repair or recondition my top or going with a brand new top. It will depend on price I'm sure.

I do like the look of the rails on the softopper.
