New rear glass!!!!
#1
OK, ever since I bought my Blazer I have had a problem with the latch plate pulling away from my window. I have tried EVERYTHING. I tried SIX different kinds of epoxy, rearview mirror adhesive, putty epoxy and even this stuff called "Steel Weld" that claimed to bind any two surfaces together. Everything I tried was just a temporay fix.Well, Monday it pulled away from the glass again. I tried the "Steel Weld" that evening. You guessed it . . . didn't work. So there was about a half inch gap at the bottom of my rear glass which created an annoying whistle at anything above 35MPH. Then it started raining and leaking. Ijust finally broke down and called around to salvage yards and found one for 275 dollars [:@] I picked it up today and I will be installing tomorrow after work.Do any of you have any tips forhanging this thing. I don't think it should be too hard just 4 torx head screws and the lift struts. I am hoping that I might luck outand get a bonus if the third brake light works. Mine never did. I will let you guys know when it is done and let you know how things worked out.

Well, I installed the rear glass today. It was a piece of cake. And as an added bonus my third brake light works now. The old one never did.

Nothing really. I am going to replace my fuel filter and also maybe my plugs, wires, and cap, but that is about all.
