Noise inside blazer
Hi, I had just read some post about "interior noise" for Blazer. Mine is a two door model, it run fast, great aceleration, good turning radius, but have a "plastic" noise" very annyoing. I take a look and since mine blazer is a second hand car, have some plastics part broken and some retention pins are missing (and here in Chile that is the last spare part that GM brings here).
A friend of mine (and about 5 other persons) tell me to add heavy duty sealant (Sika 221 or even glass silicone) in all plastic unions and inject poliurethane foam inside panels (yeah, the ones which expand...)
Have anyone here have do it?. If I do like this way, i will not have ANY chance to change or repair cables or anything. Mine truck look great from outside, but inside sounds like a near to be demolished car.. Ahhhhhh!!!!
Best regards
PS: My father S10 doesn't have this sound... and in Brazilian made!!! (pure crap...)
