thats my theory. its a hell of a lot cheaper to make something then to buy it. plus, when its done and people ask "where did you get that?" you can smile and say, "I made it." its really a great feeling.

If I could weld I'd save soo much money. I thought about taking classes. I'd like to make sculptures.

my welder is definatly my best investment. ive saved so much money with it. even little things like welding a caster back on a cart for my father, or fixing my father-in-laws iron handrail. i saved a few hundred bucks making an exhaust for my sonoma! its surprisingly easy to mig! my boss is self-taught, and he builds race cars. you should just buy a mig and practice. i know lincoln welders come with a pretty good instructional video to help you get started.

haha i wish i had the dough to get a welder and a place to keep it wouldnt hurt either...my dad was a welder for 10yrs i wish he would teach me lol

I couldn't do the bags. I have seen a few fail before. Probably from poor installs ut even still.
