My passenger side mirror is really loose and it wobbles and makes noise when im driving. I might be missing some of the bolts that go up under it. I was wondering what size the bolts were if anybody knows and if not should Iuse an adhesive? andwhat kind?

 

If it's loose where it attaches to that blazer, then you need to take the door panel off and tighten the mirror. But if the mirror is broken and wobbles, then you could use adhesive, but then the mirror would be permanent in the spot, it won't be able to fold into the blazer...

 

they are 10mm, not sure of the thread pattern, but there are three of them, and like speeddemon said, you have to remove your door panel to get at them. but thats only like 3 or 4 screws.

 

It's really easy to take the door panel off and tighten the bolts. It should only take a few minutes, and there are 3 bolts per door. It was really simple to replace my broken mirrors with Street Scene ones.

 

One thing that everyone is forgetting to ask is if this is a fold-away mirror...? If it is a fold-away, and the play is in the joint, then I do not know if there is much if anything that can be done.

Now if the mirror body (mount and all) is loose, then yes, you have to pull off the door panel and tighten it back up.

If it's the mirror itself (glass), well, I have never had good, lasting results on repairing that type of problem.

We really need to know more about this problem before we can give a decisive answer.

From your other posts, I see that you have a 2000 Blazer Trailblazer trim. This means that you have the power assist, heated, fold-away mirrors. But we still need to know where you are experiencing the movement. Is it on the glass? Is it at the joint where the mirror housing folds back towards the truck? Is it at the door?

 

Well I'm pretty sureI dont have to take the door panel off because its jus the housing around the mirror, not the entire thing. And from what I have seen there are 3 bolts that go up under the mirror.
