But, I agree the trucks were a little more solid on 1st gen bodys, but when it comes to rust... 2nd gen double sided galvanized steel takes the win.

oh, i don't know about that, i've seen my share of rotted out 2nd gen's-in fact, the front cab mounts on my '98 are starting to punch through already, just like the ones on my '92 Jimmy did. and both started doing it right around the 10 year mark, but my Jimmy had another 85K on it compared to the Blazer.

yea on mine right in front of the rear pass. side theres a spot about the size of a dollar bill and i cant find any reason for it to be that way
