hey so i was wondering if anyone knew what i should do about my back window not being tinted. I have all my other windows tinted except that one.

look on ebay?
find a junk yard?
have it tinted?

or if anyone knows if someone or maybe youreself that has one off a junk car that would be great! any ideas would be great

Just do somethin bout it. I hate seein blazers with the sides done and the rear clear as day lol

 

no i totally agree. Its just trashy. Idk why some of them arent tinted. but i just looks horrible. i agree lol

 

Just take it to a local tint shop. Have them put 20% on to match the others (if u have the tint from the factory)


Dont try and do it urself cause the walmart kind fades and u have to match up the trips DEAD ON for it to look good.

I just dont wanna see urs like lookin bad.

 

yeah there is no way i was going to do this myself. I will do pretty much anything else but tints. i can just see it fade, or even get all those crappy bubbles you see going around. Got to have the real deal.

do you have any idea how much a reasonable place would charge just for a rear window tint to 20% cause the rest are factory tints.

 

shouldnt be too much cause its just 1 window. I couldnt see a place charging more than 100 bux for it.

Just go into ur local shop and ask if they do tinting and tell them it'll be for the 1 window in the rear. They should give u a good price on it

 

Get that chrome/reflective tint. Might deter tailgaters 'N high beaners. er....beamers

 

My guess is that at one point the window was replaced. That's why mine is untinted on the rear only. An unfortunate "accident" (those of you that have been here forever remember the beer bottle incident) busted mine and I had to buy one from a junkyard that unfortunatetly didn't have tint.

 

so i called like 9 junk yards in Illinois and only one had a window that i could use and they wanted $200!! for it. i can tint an entire car for that amount. The local shop wants me to pay $125 just for the back window but $200 for a car. go figure

 

Ya, I think I paid $150 installed for mine when I got it replaced...sounds like you should just get it tinted for that price.
