not to be a pain or anything, but could somebody explain how you do the fishing line thing, im just trying to figure out how you do this right

my guess with the door trim heat em up with whatever... blow torch.... flame thrower... heat gun... hair dryer...... that the lines (prolly use some leather gloves) and do like your flossing... stick it behind in the trim and start sliding it down... most likely youll have some adhesive left... id post a pic but need to convert my pic first.... if that doesnt work.... just use the line to start it up so you can get your fingers in there and pull and heat.... remember no metalll i wish i had a plastic spacel thingy that woulda helped...
as for the left over adheasive i used my finger nails and picked at it... hence why mine are all short now. hope that helps....

so we finally had some nice weather yesterday so i took of my LS badges. it was alot easier than i thought, i just heated it with a blow dryer for like 5-10 min and scraped it off and then i used some goo gone to get the rest of the adhesive off. now i wanna take off blazer on both sides + on the back as well as chevrolet on the back, do i use the same technique that i used for the LS? ive gotta say it looks NICE

for the pinstripe and ls badge I just pulled em off and clean off the little bit of adhesive w wax and degreaser
