Also, there never was a stock all chrome grill. Anything you find like that will most likely be painted, not plated like the factory grill actually is.

Be glad it was just your grille.................... I have a 2000S10 Reg Cab Stepside Pick up and around christmas.....2006 it was bout 14 degree's out side wheni hit a deer doin bout 20..... it dented the hood...... busted the grille much the same way yours is busted and damaged the aiming plastic on the passnger head lamp ~
