All right so i have my roof rack now for the basket i like the surco but dont like how un arodynamic it is so i found the rage motorsports Black Widow Roof Rack Storage Basket and the High quality roof cargo basket High Quality Roof Cargo Baskets on discount ramps and i like them both if i get the black widow i would get the extention to make it longer and the wind fairing shipped to my door would be $209 the other would be $209.98 they can both hold 150lbs and mount to the existing crossbars. im leaning more towards the black widow since it would be easier to mount lights to but the other looks stronger. whats you opinions and ideas for light placement?

 

I'll let others comment on how they've mounted lights as I don't have that type of basket on my rack. Check craigslist though, I found a very good condition Rage black widow for $40 a while back but decided against it. Both of those look nice
