Question Rust on the Rear Roof Edge - what to do?

This may or may not be a common problem. I have some serious rust on both sides of the brake lamp on the rear roof section of my 2000, 2-door Blazer. The rust overlaps onto the lip that is behind the edge of the rear glass hatch. While the temptation is to use bondo, I would rather not do that. Does anyone know of a warehouse that provides patch panels for this section of the SUV? I would much rather cut out the rot and weld in a clean patch panel. If there is no such place selling this particular patch panel, would I have to fab my own? I thank you in anticipation of your feedback and/or suggestions.

Default

Sand down and use bondo hair. then if any perfections use a little bondo or use more bondo hair. Lmc truck will have panels most likely
