I recently bought a pretty nice 2000 Blazer ZR2, but the trim/molding around the top edge of the side windows seems sunburned or somehow deteriorated. There are still areas where its nice and smooth like when it was new, but then other spots that are rough to the touch.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks for repairing this damage, or at the very least preventing further damage? I would imagine there is some product out there.

Thanks in advance!

After more and more searching through the forum, I think I've found a solution - and thus, a new hobby! I will study the process and in the end, apply bedliner on the trim - as well and my fender flares.

I will try to do some before and after photos. This should be interesting, because I am not all that smart.

This forum is pretty awesome though!
