So, judging by the looks of the High/low beam kit from painless performance, all it is is some 16 gague wire and a basic automotive relay... the kit is $59?!?!!!!! You can buy the parts and make your own for like $15. . . would anyone know how to wire it on your own or know where I could get a diagram to wire my low beams to stay on when the highs are on??

yea there isn't too much science to the relay kit, but I wouldn't attempt anything like that; one mistake and poof a lifelong problem. Anyways I bought mine at autozone, they didn't stock it but ordered it in for me for like 44 bucks I think. Styling concepts is usually high, try summit or again your local autozone.

No problems with my SilverStar bulbs. Foglamps are another story. Gone thru about 3 sets in almost 3 years.

Hmm.... I think i'm gonna try to make my own... I can make one exactly like the one you buy... just cheaper. . . . but a relay with the constant power from the battery, ground to the radiator mount, switched 12v source from the high beam power wire, and load on the low beam power wire........ shouldn't be that difficult... hell ,I wish i'da thought of it earlier.. maybe I coulda marketed them for $40 each.. hahaha... maybe i'll take some pics as I do it and they'll let me post it in the DIY section. .

****. i paid 44 for the silverstar high beams, and a friend of mine at advance just gave me the low beams. pretty sweet deal if you ask me. i've got some eaglite hid's that came with my headlights when i bought them. never been used. i'd prolly sell you both sets for like 20 bux.
