Default stupid valance

Sorry if this is in the wrong area but I was wondering how to take off the front valance that came stock on the front of my 95 four door blazer. I am looking to take it off becauseI am going for a more offroady appearance so please let me know or give me any advice if possible.

Are you talking about the bumper or the grille? If it's the grille, I can post the how-to now, 'cause I've got pix. If it's the bumper, then I believe you should first remove the grille, then loose the bolts beneath the fender. Not 100% sure, but I plan to remove mine soon also. I can post pix of that too, once I do it. The procedure should pretty much be the same for all 94s-97s, regardless of whether you have sealed beams or composite lights.

I assume you are referring to the plastic attached below the metal part of the bumper. Its not hard to remove, its just bolted on if i remember right, Problem is i cant remember if the bolts go from the bottom up or if they go top down. Should be easy to tell by looking through the fender well. If ya gotta get it from the top just pull the grille out (should just pull away with a good tug) and get a socket with an extension on it and it should come right out real slick.

Thanks guys, I am talking about the plastic piece under the bumper. I tried getting it off yesterday but the bolts are from the top so they seem hard to get to.

I finally got it off, I just tugged on it and it came of most of the way and I had to take 2 screws out to take of my bumper mount on the front and then it came off.

Ouch!! Not sure about his '95, but on my '94 the grille has screws that hold it in, and they have to be removed to take out the grille...

Yeah on the 95 it also has screws in the grill, I have taken it out like a million times but when I said I ripped it off I ment the valance because I don't want it lol.

I stand corrected. I figured that they were held in the same as 98 and up blazers. Good to know then.
