my cable broke in the tailgate window. imma get a new one from lmc. but i dont know how to access the end of the cable under the glass. im assuming i have to take the glass out. if someone has a better way then please let me know. if i do need to remove the glass then how do i do that as well. you know these old things are touchy so i dont wanna go jacking around with nothing unnecesary. grassy ***!

If the glass is down you can get in there with a 1/4 inch socket wrench and take off the 4 bolts holding it to the window regulator

Bolts should be 7/16

Yep, they should be easy to remove with the window in the down position. Get the glass out of there and then move on to fixing the regulator cable.
