Tires on the roof

Who all has there spare on the roof? How do you have it mounted? Post up some pics i just have mine strapped right now

I don't have pictures, but mine's just strapped too. My straps go over the tire and then through the wheel and under it on the other side. Makes for a redundant system in case strap/s break on the highway or something.

when ever i finally get around to modding my roof rack, i will put my spare up there via two 1/2" x 10" I-bolts, heated and speread and slipped over the roof rack bars, with a anchor plate on top held on by 2 wing nuts

I like the i bolt idea. As for my straps i am going to go over and under also
