95vs96+ heads?
Ok so I havent gotten a straight answer yet... Will 96+ vortec heads fit on a 95 block? I am just wondering so that I can do a marine intake mod on a 95, because I know the marine intake wont line up with 95 or later heads. So now I'm just wondering if heads are interchangeable so that I can put the marine intake on. I know I'll need a different computer since its a cpi motor. Thanks for the help!!

Isn't the difference just the angle of the bolt holes though? (At least as far as interchange comparability anyway?)
I know when the corvettes came out with the TPI injection they changed the manifold bolt holes from perpendicular to the mating surface on the head to straight up and down for clearance.
We used to use the stock aluminum intake off a late 80's Camaro on our 70 Chevelle race car, we just opened up the holes with a die grinder to make them work. If I were to do it again today, I'd drop the manifold at a welder with a TIG to have them weld the bolt holes solid and re-drill the holes. (We had to run factory GM parts in our division. The newer manifolds did perform better, but we did it primarily for weight.)
I really like the look of the older cast AL plenum, I'd like to find a way to make it work with the newer heads.
