I have a 89 4.3 blazer s10. I want to put a carb set up on it. Will it give me any performance upgrade? Also any carb suggestions? Also does anyone make and adapter plate or will I have to find a new intake manifold?

Pic of my stock motor.

I want to go carb so when I go I go 350. I can just drop it in and not really worry about a fueling problem.

i was looking into doing this a while ago and was told the only factory 4.3 carb'ed intake was on astro vans. i would think some of the older monte carlos would or other fullsized cars would have them.

Did a quick search on ebay and came up with this adapter plate. With this you can mount a Holley 2 Barrel carb on the stock 4.3 intake manifold. Here is the link. Think a 500cfm 2 barrel carb can run a stock 4.3?

The carb.
