Default how much HP can a stock transmission can withstand
Hey guys I would like to know exactly how much HP can a stock transmission from a 2000 Chevy blazer 4.3L 5speed can withstand till it is totally rip to shreds.

I believe GM rated these things at 360FT/LBs of torque. Its the torque that kills these trannys. Anything over and above this and your rolling the dice especially on a used unit.
