Question hows my intake look?

I know its not nice and preety but im going too weld a new pipe where the factory flexpipe is becouse Im guessing that may be quietin it down?? does anyone know if that piece does or not? anyways ive got a piece of thick plastic that im going too heat up and bend with a hot metal rod kinda like the way u can bend and form plexiglass.. So let me know what u think of it so far, I took the factory restrictor plate out of throttlebody just take t15 screwdriver and remove two screws and then make sure not too drop screws and slide out throttleblade and drill out the rivets holding restrictor in and i took two bolts and four nuts with locktite too block the holes left from restrictor plate. wot the plate covers 25% of airflow which is wild but gm did this for smoother acceleration instead of all power at low rpms too keep from jerking u when taking off

99blazzer- I suggest adding a heat shield. If you make it right it will protect the filter from water splashing through the wheel wells.

got my intake off ebay, but i sanded off the chrome, primered it,added 2k degree heat paint and added a clear coat for the gloss shine.

as for my heatsheild i have to give the credit to "TRIPLEBLACKBLAZER" he had a thread on making the heatsheild
heres his link to that thread

I would hope! Nothing beats that full throated intake gulping sound, in my geezer opinion.
