Default Maintenance

Just had my 2004 Blazer's intake manifold gasket done. One of the mentions by my tech was the fact that I only have 77,000 miles on my blazer but have never had a coolant system flush done. He said 5 yrs. 100,000 miles. But also that it is a common problem.

My question is: should I have other maintenance issues done? Transmission flush, tune-up, etc?

I love the SUV but have also been having front end issues lately. Control arms, idler arms, bearings, etc.

getting close to 100k i think is comparable to mid life on these things...(some not so much)
but yeah i would do the plugs and other 100k things.
you could also check the manual for recommended maint things.
the idler arm i would say yeah...control arms depends on your driving ...offroad? daily driver?

alot depends on what you do with your ride.
but if you did the intake i would flush it because your in the engine and things could be floating around now as well.
