All of the electronics and transmission would have to be swapped as they are not compatible. If you really want more power why not do a v8 swap you will end up with more power, better mileage, less money, and far less headache from beating yourself over the head to figure it all out!!

What year engine would I need, a 95 as well? Will a 95 350 have the same injector style? Would it be a direct swap or would it need major rewiring as well?

I kinda always wondered this as well. I have herd of people retrofitting newer transmissions into the 95s by changing the pigtail. I thought it was never possible and asked for pics and well the trans was obviously not 95. Would love more insight instead of the throw a carb and wire some gauges up.
