When I installed mine I had a heck of a time getting the IAT sensor installed without the grommet pushing through. Found using a needle nose pliers in reverse (placing grommet over plier end & opening pliers) to stretch grommet helped out. Sounds great and hope it improves MPGs. I got mine from STREETSIDEAUTO.COM for under $100 too.

Wow, I was looking at getting a spectre air intake and amazon went up on their price like crazy. Wtf? I mean seriously, they want almost double the price of what yall got it for. I want the spectre air intake minus the heat shield if possible.
Does anyone still know where to get a spectre for a little less than 100?

I had pretty much quit on this for double the price, but I found it here: Spectre Cold Air Intake for only $137.74, I hope it's legit; I just purchased it and will update if when I get any updates. Seems to be the only place that has it under $200
Edit: its been a week. I've sent four emails and gotten one response. The item hasn't shipped. If they don't respond by today I'm filing a claim reporting this. Pretty mad, never had such a terrible experience buying online.
Edit: after threatening to report them I got a response.

im just going to make my own CAI, its really easy to do and you get the satisfaction of doing it yourself. tripleblackblazer did a nice write up on how to make one yourself.
for those of you who haven't seen this gem of a thread here is a link: homemade heat shield and intake

Yeah, I can't find the reason to ever pay that much. It was a deal when it used to be $100, but $200 now? Not worth it imo.

To those of you who did get the Spectre, what exactly was included? I have a chance to buy this: http://i51.tinypic.com/4j8js5.jpg which the seller says is a real full Spectre kit but I'm not sure exactly what it should contain. Can anyone speak from experience?
Ignore me, looking at pictures online seems everything is included. Looking at this it'd be quite simple to piece together my own...
