Usually the word 'chip' does not go with an OBD II vehicle, but do you have a link so we can look at what it is?

the chip was old school as rriddle3 said. The perfomance "module" is according to the internet:
"...a resistor to fool the computer into thinking that the inlet air temperature is colder than it is, causing the computer to inject more fuel than it should. This will cause more harm than good, and the computer may even compensate by leaning the mixture based on O2 sensor feedback..."
well i dunno i got a performance chip on ebay, and while it doesnt give me the 'INSTANT HORSEPOWER INCREASE! WILL THROW YOU BACK IN YOUR SEAT!' feeling, it helps me up hills. my only complaint is that it makes the engine eat gas. i mean i get about 16 in the city, when i have the chip on, i get 8-10.
Okay, bored in class, browsing e-bay, and I found this:
White Lightning Performance Module
And he seems to have a buttload of good feedback, any thoughts?
The response: NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think this falls into the rest of the "resistor for sale" things of e-bay.
All i did was
"white lightning performance chip" to get those. granted they come from a ford, nissan, and jeep forum respectively..... i doubt it will be any different in a GM ride

If you want anything does to the computer...send it off and have it reprogrammed by PCM for less.
