Will this work
I have a 95 blazer and I'd like to get a programer. I know the 95's are a odd year and this is the only thing out there that I have found. So do you guys think this will work? http://www.streetperformance.com/par...12-29522s.html
I found this out on jet's website. They have a thing for blazer and blazer LT, mine is a LT but idk what a trim package on my blazer has to do with anything. Oh well but I think it will work. Here is the link... http://www.streetperformance.com/m/c...e-upgrade.html
Most 95's are a mix of OBD1 and OBD2 for powertrain management, commonly referred to as OBD1.5. It was a one year only deal and no one supports these PCMs or the programming of them. Heck, there are very few code readers which will actually read them.
I never have seen any documentation as to when the change over happened. It seemed like when they ran out of overstocked OBD1 components, they switched.
If you have the OBD1 connector under the driver side dash, you have an OBD1 compliant system. If you have the OBD2 connector, you have the rag-tag mess of OBD1/OBD2.
