Yeah, but that truck likely has a decent amount more mass than that car does, the more it weighs, the more likely damage is going to occur. Still, seems like it should have had heavy enough parts under there to keep from having damage like his car did.

Interesting....

Vehicles arnt exactly built to withstand sliding into curbs though. I mean to some extent sure. But its all about angles and at what angle he hit it and exactly the speed how was his steering wheel turned ect ect ect..

We could all try the same thing 10 times over and never get the same results. Just my 2 cents tho

When a mustang hit the jimmy into the curb, there was no damage...

Another car hitting the jimmy ONTO the curb...think about that.

Its. Possible 2 do that damage at 5-10mph. I've fixed a lot of cars with that kind of damage over the years in the body shop

i grand prix is pretty heavy... i would bet it at about 3400 give or take 100lbs, but add a driver and fuel. i agree with the 5 - 10mph but think he must have been doing something stupid like trying to drift his FWD car and slid into the curb straight on sideways.
ive hit some curbs dead on, on purpose, and have never done anything like this, but when i was like 15 my friend slid his (new then) 90-something toyota supra into a curb in a mall parking lot doing about 10mph (im canadian) and the back wheel folded under the car! -mind you it is a toyota! haha

I think it depends on the angle you hit the curb
