Honestly torque and horsepower wise, yes and no? I guess I feel more pickup going uphill, but honestly, that's a good motor, so at high or low rpm, that trucks always had a kick to it anyway.
Although it does give the exhaust a slightly deeper tone to it, and makes a nice *wurring* noise in lower gear, with a more aggressive sound. If I open the hood and give it enough gas you can hear it pretty good. It makes that *woosh* sound, but to someone who doesn't know I have an intake isntalled, they wouldn't really notice it. If you pay enough attention to it you can hear it. Other than that, people would probably think it's the radiator fan because I know when the engine's cold the radiator fan is extreamly loud and makes a *shhhh* sound. One night it was really quiet and I was driving home from my friends, and I could actually hear the intake really going *ssss* but I think as the engine gets warmer it fades out.
Then again, the position the air filter is at, you probably can't hear it anyway. It's behind the heat shield and the grille. I went infront of the truck and my brother reved the engine, and you could really hear it sucking, but unless you were close enough that you were gonna get run over, it's not as loud as I'd like.
I do recommend it, though. I mean that's just my opinion. Some people might actually feel more of a difference if they really pay enough attention to the before and after performance.

I believe the intake was $318 but I got it in clearance for $201 with free shipping, so in all $201.

It was a great deal, and the intake does look awesome. The deal was quick though, I went back to the site the day after I bought it and the price had already gone up to $250, but still had free shipping.

Yes I did, and I'm lucky I got it when I did because the deal ended the next day. Overall the intake looks amazing.
