Looks like a dana 70/80. Probably in the middle of getting a 1 ton SAS. Nothing wrong with that...

I drove my truck around for a day with the 8.8 SOA in the rear and stock IFS junk up front, and i dont think im giving anyone a bad name for doing it.

 

Heck I welded all the stuff to mount the front leaf springs to my blazer and drove it for weeks while I was waiting for my axles , I thought it looked kinda cool that way . When someone modifies a vehicle they modify it to the way they want it , you don't have to like it . I have a ford engine in my Chevy , not because I like ford engines but I had the whole truck and the transfer case had the driver side drop drive shaft , so I figured what the heck , might as well try . And then did the SAS swap shortly after , I love it .

 

drove mine around with all the wheels painted a different color and much more. I think people bash it because they know they'll never ask in person what is going on and its easier for people to hate something then love it. But km is right, its a dana 70 i believe, the diff on that is huge!

 

I rekon he's plannin on towin the mobil home with the Blazer!
