I got 2000 jimmy and I know the stock security system will go off of say your windows are down and you reach in and unlock it. I got some people trying to break into every car and house in my neighborhood I cougt the guy already trying to get into my car my question is will the security system go off if some opens it up with a slim jim?

 

i know mine does. but i am not sure if the ones are the jimmy are the same way

besides the headlights and the grill aren't they absolute same truck?

 

i didnt know if they were or not. the easiest way to tell if yours is set up to do that is set the security system with the window rolled down, then reach in and unlock it. if it goes off you got your answer.

not a problem. i figured it would being as i havent fixxed my door lock actuator on the driver door so i have to manually lock mine. tho sometimes when the gf drives it it is fun to booby trap. i know lil immature but fun. hahah
