Default 04 Blazer RWD suspension lift

It looks like 4wd blazers are popular when it comes to lift projects.

i have a 2wd 4 door blazer. I feel comfortable with adding 2 inches to the rear by adding 2in lift shackles but also my leaf springs are sagging. Where can I find good heavy duty springs that will last a long time because as far as I see it’s hard to get them.

also I have no idea how to lift the front. I figured adding a bigger spring wouldn’t do anything but make my life hard by installing it and put too much tension on the lower arm. How can I lift the front?

Just do what most people do and get the 2.5 inch Rough Country suspension lift kit.

They have a 6 inch lift as well if you want to go bigger.

I’ll take another look at Rough Country, but when I looked last week it said that kit was for the 4x4 models

Hmm. Summit Racing sells a 2WD lift I believe. Sorry, reading comprehension fail on my part.

If you can't find a suspension lift, you might have to go with a body lift.

It will require a set of lift spindles on the front and I haven't see them offered in years - I checked out Summit and a few others and did a search for lift spindles notta - Drop spindles glore and one lift set for a Toyota - You may have to go with a 2" body lift and a set of Rhino bars to blend it in .... Cimmerian beat me to that suggestion while I was typing lol ....

Yea a body lift just isn’t the same to me. I will try to search a few more deep dark corners of the universe. Maybe I’ll get lucky and fine a spindle
