1996 s10 blazer solid axle swap
thanks dux, i'm sure 35's are big enough for me. back to the retro fit, will i have to do a spring over for the rear, or are the mounts on those axles already on top? and what would i have to do to the front axle? i'm thinking about getting a D30 and D35. also, the drive shafts... if my blazer is lifted wont i need longer driveshafts?

when i actually did mine i used a k5 blazer rear axle and transfer case and i i think i gained about 11 inches of lift and actually used the stock rear driveshaft but i think the transfercase was alittle longer. unless you find someone who did the exact same swap its kinda hard to predict the length you need. i basically just put in my axles then started digging through my pile-o-parts for the right sized driveshafts
Pile o' parts! haha. well i dont work at a junkyard anymore so that pile can get costly! i can almost visualize everything going together except.. how will i steer? i'll probably need a drop pitman and idler arm right? and at that spot it's blazer to jeep, any idea if the parts fit one another? do i buy blazer parts or jeep parts. haha!
