2" blazer body lift need HELP
Hey guys
I got a 01 blazer and wanting to do a body lift. I know I'll have to put the tbar raised and get a 2" shackles. I live here in Australia and they don't sell shackles for my car. Is there a chance I can put lifting blocks instead of 2" shackles

no you cannot use blocks because the axle sits on under the springs stock...so you would actually lower the vehicle.
shackles are easy to make if you know anyone who welds...they are basically two pieces of metal with some mount points drilled in them and a mid cross member to tie them together and stiffen them. real simple construction.
on the questionable side of shackles you can do it without welding if you can find a way to take some steel stock and put holes in them to mount...they will be weaker without the mid point connection. there is a auto part store here in the states that sells just a shackle kit that contains some hardware and steel with holes in it.....again on the questionable side...depends on what your gonna do with your ride.
to give you an idea of the cheap way...
