2000 bravada AWD
So when I bought my bravada, three weeks ago, it had the service awd light on. So yesterday I replaced the encoder motor after I checked the trouble codes to make sure that is what it was. And today I had to run my niece to school (sister has cancer long story) and living in rural iowa I had some fun on the way home driving down some minimum service roads, and around noon my light is back on. Does anybody know what ths problem could be? Any help would be great

pull the codes again see if you have the same code
#3
i plan on doing that tomorrow (tuesday) in the am

so I went in to the gm dealership that my uncle works at, and the code that it gave was CO310, and its description was "motor circuit A/B open" the tech said that it is a problem in the wiring harness(like a short) or the transfer case control mod. is poopy. and thats where im at atm
#5
there ya go ya found your problem
you might wanna start looking at the harness by the encoder motor then the 4x4 module

i narrowed it down to being the transfer case control, woot(kinda)
#7
The tccm and encoder motors are problematic on these things.

ummm mine had several different TC problems showing up and 'binding while backing and turning'. I did a harness tug test and the light went out, started acting normally and hasnt come back. Knock wood.
Pull and clean all connectors then fresh silicone or dielectric grease in them.

I did check the wirea and plugs, did a power test and all wires had power, uncle (GM tech) said that meant tccm. And it will be here today.
Does anybody know how hatch it would be to make 4wd, it would pry need the transfer case and tccm and the switch wiring harness?
:UPDATE: so its been a few weeks, and i bought a new "rebuilt" tccm and still no AWD any suggestions?
