2000 chevy blazer broken lower control arm.
I was reversing out my driveway and my front driver side wheel dropped to tha ground and I knew it wasn't a flat tire. I need help on what I need to do to replace my lower control arm. What tools I need. How many jaxs will I need to lift up. Do I need a super powerful c-clamps. My control arm totally ripped off my tire. It's ugly. Fluid was leaking, what is that. Do I fix that too? Plus do I fix tha ball joints.

The foremost tool you`ll need is the spring compressor. If you just unbolt the ball joints without compressing the springs? You will recieve alot of bodily harm. While your at it you may want to replace both upperand lower ball joints plus check out the spindle..If this is bad too change it out while your at it.There`s always a rule of thumb when ever you tear something apart. If you can afford it, replace all parts that`s involved.Let me give you an example , for instance you have a bad lower ball joint ?It won`t make sense to just change that one ball joint.Change both ball joints that way you`ll have a piece of mind knowing you have 2 new ball joints, not just one.
