Default 2000 Jimmy 4WD Rear Driveshaft Question

Hey y'all. My rear driveshaft is trash. I use car-part for a lot of my used parts. When I search for the rear driveshaft for an NP8 4 door, it shows that the 02-08 Trailblazer and Envoy are compatible. Is this true? I don't see why they'd be different. But I wanted to make sure that they were before I went and bought one.

Before anyone asks, I attempted to remove the u joints to replace them. I heated them up good with map gas and hardly any goo came out compared to what I'm used to seeing in GMs. And they wouldn't budge a single bit. Tried heating more and the grease leaked and caught fire. No more goo would come out. I'm not going to buy new joints only for the shaft to be junk. Which I'm 99 percent sure it is. It's rusty as well and the joints are factory and absolutely hosed.

So if anyone can confirm that I can use an 02-08 Trailblazer and Envoy driveshaft from an NP8 truck, that would be awesome.

Thank you all!

Have you tried looking at the part number for your replacement driveshaft to see if it is the same for the Trailblazer? Even if the part is discontinued, the online GM parts outlets will allow you to check what the part number would have been.
