Default 2000 jimmy rear end Question

I have a gov-lock rear end from a 2001 Blazer and want to install it into my 2000 Jimmy.

Is it easier to swap the complete axle or the guts of the axle into existing axle?

If I swap the complete axle I would need to install new axle seals since they have light leaks.

Thanks.

If you are not familiar with setting up gear backlash and tooth patterns I would swap the whole rear. Save up and rebuild the one you take out with a stronger LSD.
