Default 2005 ZR2 Rear Shocks?

I assume i need to replace the rear shocks on my 2005 ZR2. the passager side rear is sagging approximately one & half inches compared to the driver side, and the shock appears to be weeping fluid.

i have installed leveling shackles in the rear to level the truck and i plan on using the truck to tow.

Does anyone have suggestions? New shocks? if so, what type of shocks?

thanks
greg

Stick with Bilsteins, though I think they are a bit hard to come by at the moment.

Shocks have nothing to do with how level your vehicle sits. If your truck is not even side to side, your springs are either sagging or have a broken leaf or two. This needs to be addressed properly and using multiple position shackles is not a proper way of handling the situation. Sooner or later, the spring can break completely on you.

Missed the whole part of the unevn rear end sag. What was said above is what you need to figure out and fix.

As for why Bilsteins are hard to come by I know of few folks that have been trying to get them for a few months and more. Seems that they have run out of stock and haven't cranked up the manufacturing yet. This being said, I haven't tried to find any lately so they may be out there now.

X2--fix the real problem and bilsteins are some of the best shocks around.
