Default 4WD center link part number question

Hi All

They told me I had to replace center link in my Blazer. I try to find it at Rock Auto or to find part number on AC Delco site but I can find only 2WD or RWD (I think 2WD=RWD). Where could I find center link for 4WD? What is the problem with it? Any idea?

Regards, Marcin

I show two part numbers that are not associated with the ZR2 package.

26055302 - w/ offroad package (RPO ZM6?)
26038980 - w/ smooth ride suspension (RPO Z85?)

However, that is just some of the descriptions that pop up on GMPartsDirect.com... You should contact a dealer with your VIN for proper identification of the part number you require.

Thanks. I am not sure if they are right and I should chnge it. As I can see there is no any ball-joints in this center link - it seems to be a kind of metal link so why to change it? For 2WD it is differet - center link comes with 2 ball joints.

Regards, Marcin

VERY odd that they would want to change it. The only reason would be that there is a problem with one of the tapered holes which the inner tie rod ends and the pitman/idler arms fit into.

You were right. I have to change idler arm not center link.
