4wd indicator light goes out under acceleration

or to many miles on motor losing vac check with vac gaug and giv it gas

If the engine runs well, this indicates there is sufficient vacuum. Did you test the vacuum check valve? Did you check the vacuum lines at the vacuum switch yet? Check each line separately and make sure it holds vacuum, and that they are not restricted. You'll need a hand vacuum pump and a vacuum gage to check them. Or you can replace them, (one at a time) to make sure they are connected properly.
