My 4WD will not engage. if i press 4HI it blinks a few times then goes right to 2HI. When i put it in nuetral and push 4LO it does the same thing. i can hear clicking in the transfer case but doesn't engage. any ideas?

 

and what do you drive?
there is a diy article on troubleshooting the 4wd system, search it and if you can't figure it out from there, let us know.
