Happy New Year!

Might want to look very closely at the TCCM connector, make sure the pins fit tightly in the sockets, and that there is no corrosion present.

Keep us posted on the results.

I was having the same problem you are. I had to use my 4wd when we had some snow the other week and after that I couldn't get it out of 4wd. Somebody told me to just disconnect the battery for several minutes which I did and when I reconnected it I was able to disengage the 4 wd and it's been ok since.

So I realized I did something that drives me nuts. I didn't come back and post a final result to close out the forum and help others diagnose their blazer problems. So here goes, I put in a new TCCM and re-installed everything, greasing connectors, carefully snapping the plastic panels on etc. Turned the truck on and everything works great. No service light, 4-wheel drive switch lights were on again, and it shifts like a dream; which is wonderful because here in Minnesnowda it can be tough not having 4-wheel drive.
