4x4 stuck

I'd jack the back end up and spin each wheel by hand. You'll feel and hear if it's the brakes or echoing from the rear differential..

I'll give her a check tonight hopefully be home before last light.

If you are talking about a periodic hesitation like something is holding the vehicle back (then letting it go) again and again when turning the vehicle right or left - then the front axle (not transfer case) is staying locked in.

Well its official. The diff is welded. now we know whats up. but other issues were discovered. No i have to decide if I keep her or scrap her
