i need to know what i need to do to get a manual tranfer shifter in this truck .....yearsand what parts i need

Out of curiosity, did you check the vacuum diaphragm for the front diff actuator? There's something in the system, where if the front diff actuator doesn't move enough, it doesn't go into 4x4 and it could trip the code and make the 4x4 not work...

 

vacuum diaphragm works fine i have decoder motor off and am able to shift it into 2hi 4hi 4lo and it all works so if i can just put somekind of shiftlever up thru floor i be happy...i am tired of fighting with this elec/vac system have spent way tooo much money and time

 

Try this. I actually plan on doing this as well... Eventually, lol.
