ball joint spacers

anyone using them?
anyone know if they really help the ball joints

Just the idea of spacing the ball joints makes me quesy, I would think it would add stress to the ball joint making it weaker!!

Ive never heard of ball joint spacers!! i do know ive seen an ad somewhere saying that if the ball joint holes are worn out there is a larger ball joint for that application...maybe thats the spacer they are talking about... It may have even been on the autozone website..

Yea but when it comes to something like that a spacer will put extra stress on a moving part like that!! I just wouldn't use them!!
