Brake Rotors

I want to add that it's not only the rotor plate width that they might be shortcutting, it's also the alloy they use. Many problems with pedal shake are not due to warping but to 'hard spotting' where casting imperfections lead to thicker span at that point. I've seen this myself a few years ago.. definite finish reflection difference at a couple spots on the rotor verified by micrometer.
Even a lathe resurface wont fix that for long.
