When I replaced the axle in my daughter's car I couldn't get the axle nut off by hand, so I used an impact on it and it finally came loose.

I finally did get it off. My buddy brought a grinder. He is 250 pounds and jumped up and down on a cheater bar and it STILL would not come off. We ground and chisled it till it finally broke in half. I am keeping what's left on my desk as a reminder. lol Now, can anyone tell me how to jack up the torsion bars? The thing looks like a lowrider from LA and cannot make it out of the driveway.
Thanks to all for your advice.
