Default Can I use adjustable shackles?

The rear of my 1st gen Blazer is sagging about 2". I found an adjustable shackle on eBay that can lift from 2" to 5". Will these work on our Blazers? That way I could alway lift more later and not spend any more $$.

If it fits I'm sure it will work. I would just be cautious as far as materials used and how it will stand up to the test of time and abuse. If it can adjust, that just increases points of failure.

I assume the shackles are just 4 metal plates
the originals are one piece , likely to reduce flex

They are one piece (no welding) and made by Crown. Here is a link.

they look a little too long, may bend under pressure. Went with the 2" standard one peice. Thanks for the input.
