Clunking with new shocks

Clunking with new shocks
I just replaced my stock shocks with Monroe Reflex shocks and I'm now getting clunking in the front end. From what I can see, there's some play between the top of the shock and where it sits in the mount(I can twist the top of the shock from side to side ever so slightly). I'm guessing this is what's clunking around. Has anyone had this problem and what can be done to fix it? Should I try tightening the nut to see if it will squeeze the side of the mounts in?
Thanks
By the way, its a 2000 2dr 4x4

Had the exact problem with the exact same shocks on my old 2000 Bravada. I just tightened the crap out of the upper mounting bolts to pull the mount in and tighten up the shock. Alternatively you could put a washer in along side the shock to tighten things up.
