cranking torsion bars

Default cranking torsion bars

I would like to lvl my truck out and its a 01 chevy blazer 4x4 and some one said I could do that no more than 2 inches. what do yall think?

common thought on that around here is that doing more than 1.5 inches causes problems because of the angle on the cv shafts up front.

How well would the truck handle after I crank them an inch and half?

when i cranked mine...i honestly never noticed any difference.
i rode like that for over a year...only issue i had was the boot slipped of the inner cv joint.
an easy fix with an adjustable clamp and lube pack for each side.
those clamps are still on there to this day...never had a day of problems with them.

I drove a full size Chevy truck today that someone had cranked the bars way tight on. It didn't handle well at all. You could feel every bump in the road too. If you crank them be judicious.

Well I just wanna lvl the truck out because the back is higher than the front. So I dought I will even need 1.5 inches
