Creaky/Grinding Noise when wheel turned all the way left or right
#1
Hi everyone!!
My '94 Blazer makes a creaking/grinding noise whenever I lock the wheel making a left or right turn. What could be wrong? I looked it up online and found a million different answers. Is this a fix that a novice wrencher could pull or would I need to take it in?
Thanks!!

My Blazer was making noise in driveway on sharp turns. It is a high miler and I decided to replace the ball joints. I purchased moog from amazon and was able to install them I a day. Was unprepared for such an improvement in driving. Car had lots of vibrations and rattles and it make such a difference.

Thanks!! I've never done anything like that, I'll have to watch some videos but I think I'll take it to some shops to get some second opinions cause I'd hate to fix one thing only for the root cause to be something else entirely.
(Do shops charge for diagnosing?)
